- EPA 1990 s. 141 Regulating waste import and export EPA 1990 s. 141 empowers the Secretary of State to regulate or prohibit waste import, export, and transit, setting max penalties up to 2 years imprisonment.
- EPA 1990 s. 142 Information powers on hazardous substances Secretary of State may require info on hazardous substances by regulations, exempting substances first supplied after 18 Sept 1981 or under other laws.
- EPA 1990 s. 144 Amendments to hazardous substances Section 144 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 gives effect to Schedule 13, which contains miscellaneous amendments to hazardous substances legislation.
- EPA 1990 s. 146 Amends penalties for sea deposit offences EPA 1990 s. 146 sets penalties for unlicensed sea deposits under FEPA 1985: fine up to £50,000 on summary conviction, imprisonment up to 2 years on indictment.

- EPA 1990 s. 152 Burning crop residues The Minister may regulate burning of crop residues on agricultural land: prohibit, restrict, create summary offences (fine up to level 5).
- EPA 1990 s. 153 Environmental financial assistance Lists organisations and programmes that may receive financial assistance from the Secretary of State under EPA 1990 s. 153.
- EPA 1990 s. 154 Groundwork Foundation superannuation This provision adds the Groundwork Foundation to the list of employments under the Superannuation Act 1972, retroactively deeming it always included.
- EPA 1990 s. 155 Inland Waterways Chairman Pay EPA 1990 s. 155 allows paying the Inland Waterways Amenity Advisory Council chairman, barring loss of time allowances if paid.
